Nessmuk (Ziricote)

0.00

An iconic pattern (if you're the sort of person who notices such things).  Designed by the guy who literally wrote the book on bushcraft.  The hump on the spine is useful for raising the tip away from organs while field dressing, makes for a handy spot to grab while scraping, and apparently functions as a decent spoon but, well... that's up to you I guess.

The Nessmuk isn't just good for hunting.  And while it's meant to be part of a trio of blades, it does just fine on its own and will handle just about anything short of axe work.

Blade: 3/32" O1 tool steel.  Saber Grind.  Hand rubbed finish on flats.  Forced patina.  Eased spine (still ok for ferro rods but better for your thumb the rest of the time).  3.5" cutting edge.

Handle:  Zizicote with translucent jade liners and brass hardware (corby bolts and a large, 5/16" lanyard tube).

Sheath sold separately.
