Sort of a mini-Mapmaker, sort of not. The handle has a more traditional coke bottle shape and the blade has more of a drop point than a spear point.
For most people, this is all the knife you’ll ever need or want in the woods. It’s an excellent size, shape, and grind for a backpacking/hiking companion, a full-size bushcrafter for those of you who’re smaller in stature, and a great little wood worker for just about anyone. For those of you who are hesitant to plunk down big bucks for a handmade knife out of fear that that the handle will be too large, fear not, this one is for you.
